Technology could be beter - getting free wifi was hard from rooms. Ok if not slow at breakfast hall.
Room was big, strightforward facilities, alhtough had a large bathroom that was stripped out and fitted out for disabled so not the most ideal for younger travellers looking for that old world glory.Unsure if all the rooms are like this. Sound wise, very good insulation - facing main street. Good location with plenty of restaurants and activities nearby.

Ideal location for visiting Rome, close to Closeum, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Near Matro and main railway station.
All round pleasant hotel.
Top Tip
Use the 4 Euro day ticket for the metro, bus & trams, rather than the tourist buses.

This hotel is perfectly situated & the staff very polite & helpful. The courtyard garden is a huge bonus and makes a cool retreat from the heat/sun.
Some bedrooms need a few touches but I am sure they would move you if you were unhappy with your room!

There is absolutely loads to see in Rome but try taking the tour bus that takes the route out of the city. The catacombs, roman road & aquaduct is just amazing & worth seeing. Also make use of the metro by buying 1 euro tickets (at most news stands or cafes), they last an hour but you can hop on & off as much as you like.

The room on the website is misleading i.e. our actual room was no where near the size. We could not get hot water from the shower.

We saw all of the main sites recommended with the exception of the Sistine chapel as the queues were too long due to it being the weekend. Recommend going during the week. The view from St Peter's dome is breathtaking. My favourite was the Pantheon. It's unbelievable people could build such a magnificient building 2000 years ago.
Best time to see the Trevi fountain is at night.
Shop around for restaurants. The most expensive are not always the best.
Was not overly impressed with the bus tour as it was diverted a couple of times due to the roads being blocked off (Tony Blair in town).
Recommend Rome to anybody.

Hotel location is great but decor a little disappointing. From the pictures we were expecting more oppulent furnishings. A little tired and shabby. Hotel staff very miserable especially those on reception!
Top Tip
Open top bus to take in all sights highly recommend. About 5 minute walk from hotel to bus station.

Dinners are expensive and they do not seem to encourage. No set menue offered as far as we can see and I dont think they rae particularly into tourist dinners! Also when full as thye were on thtwodays they had touble copeing with th volumes at breakfast. Plenty of service but difficulty in gettiing tables.

Lots of restuarants around. For good value options try the cafes around the trevli fountain area they are good italian cooking and a at a good price. There are loads of cafes around.
Do not buy drinks etc from the cafe vans you see around especialy at colliseum. They are very expensive just like London!
Finally we alked evry wher and if you are able you see so much m,ore. A good guidebook is really needed we used the Eyewitnes one and that was good and easy to use.
Leonardo Express works well and easy walking from Rome Termini if you have cases on wheels.11Euros per person each way. Buy return tickets when getting ones from airport to save looking for ticket office at Termini.
