hotel staff very friendly and rooms were very clean however I was disappointed as the hotel room looked nothing like it was on the web site( we stayed in double)shower in the room very small. The piano bar was not available. Menu in the hotel restaurant is very limited and quite expensive.

Lovely hotel, was very pleased. great welcome from Alessandro. The breakfast on the terrace is a great start to day. and the chocolate on the pillow in the evening is a nice touch. Room was compact but well presented and bathroom was spotless. Room was no.628 which meant we had a little noise from roof terrace in morning but nothing too bad. Some street noise but in comparison to other hotels we looked at this one is on a quiet street. Would recommend and visit again.

Top Tip
if Romes prices are a bit too steep for you, you may be tempted to try Giovannis just around the corner from hotel..good prices, you get what you pay for but double check the bill, they tried over charging us 10euros

Near to train station (10 minute walk) you can get tour busses from the train station at a fraction of the cost offered from the hotel.

Suites are much larger than standard rooms. Some suites on floor 6 need updating. Walking to sights is all downhill albeit a little further away from main tourist sights than we might have liked, especially if the weather is against you. Taxi service booked by the hotel is overpriced. Hotel is situated in the financial district with a plentiful spread of authentic italian restaurants

Lovely little hotel, not too far from centre and very convenient to Termini. Staff exceedingly friendly and always helpful with recommendations for restaurants etc. Room a little small but spotless. Rooftop bar very nice to return to in evening but be prepared to spend a little extra. Contrary to posts I have read on other sites you could not hear chairs being moved etc from the restaurant on the 7th floor and we were on the 6th floor. Cheapest Bars in Rome were the Irish bars, which is a real surprise as they gave full pints for less than most bars charged for smaller measures.

Top Tip
Rome through Eternity for Vatican tour and Tourus Maximus for Colosseum/Forum/Palatin. The first is a 5/6 hour tour of Vatican and costs around €44 + €14 extrance fees.We had an excellent guide in Ian. The tour of the Colosseum explained what it was really about and then later the tour of the Forum/Palatine from a guide who loved his work. We really enjoyed this tour and for €21 including entrance fees was exceptional value.

A peaceful, quiet hotel within easy reach of the main bus and metro services.(8 to 10 mins walk) Suggest taxi from the Termini to the hotel as it could be difficult to find initially. Hotel staff give valuable info on the best restuarants in the area. Best food was in the Trasterve area, well worth the taxi fare.

Top Tip
If travelling with a lot of cases its is best to transfer from the airport by taxi as all buses go to termini .
